my stomach is fairly big and i need a quick resolution...please help...serious answers only...

you can't spot reduce fat stores through diet or exercise. genetics determines from where on the body fat is metabolized first and last.

if you want to lose the the fat on your stomach you have to reduce your body fat until you see the desired results in your mid-section

Work on your abs. Do simple crunches, leg raise and side crunches (3 sets of 30 reps). You can do this at home or if you are enrolled in a gym, do the basic ones on a mat then try working out your abs using an incline bench. Do this everyday for 2 weeks and you'll see some improvements. Also, cut off your rice if you eat too much rice. Cut the sweets especially chocolates and ice cream! Hope this helps you.

Seriously the best way is sit ups. If you get the Cindy Crawford work out tape and do it, it's non strenuous and fun. She works with professional trainer Radu and it is targeted to get those stubborn areas. Thanks to her my stomach is flat and toned. Whats great about the video is that she doesn't rush and takes breaks and for beginners that's whats needed. Lose weight all over in the least amount of time. Good luck.

Okay....3,500 calories to burn one pound of fat
You keep a journal of your food intake..I think its highly important for you to see on paper the numbers of what you are taking in.

You buy a calorie counting watch..You take your total intake calories +3,500 add them together and THAT is what you need to burn everyday..to burn one pound.

If you start seeing the numbers I think it will help see that alot of what you might eat..may be uneccesary. You have to remember that your stomach and your intake of food at one meal sitting should be the size of your fist. It doesn't take much food to maintain your health. You can have 5 to 6 servings of healthy food the size of your fits over three regular huge meals. Your body is like a conveyer belt. You need a little at a time to keep everything moving. Good Luck

I lost two pant size's in one month using the Atkins low carb diet and walked two miles every day.Also lost 24 pounds in that month and two years later I'm still very conscious of what kind of food I eat.I no longer take blood pressure medicine and feel great.

The AbLounger seems to help. Sticking to it regularly works wonders and it's easier than regular sit-ups. Plus cut out junk food. It seems to like the mid section.

You can't lose weight only in your stomach area, it has to be your whole body. I had a girlfriend that was skinny, except for major thunderthighs, but she still had to lose weight overall to lose the weight in her thighs. There is no shortcut.
