Your chicken wasn't really smoked at the supermarket, they use a smoke flavoring on the rotisseried bird, anyway, 3-4 days at 40 degrees airtight container, 4-6 months in the freezer

Most item that is already cooked and you refrigerate will give a shelve life of 4-7. The maximum is 7 day all depend by how well is wrapped and how cold is the refrigerator. For my personal experience smoked item as salmon, blue fish and turkey will last even up to 10 day. The best way to find out if is going bad if the chicken or fish get little slimy.

5-6 days. Just keep it cold and dry. Hot smoking is a preservation method. Where-as an unkooked chicken is good for 3-5 days (properly stored) I would not be scared to eat a smoked chicken 8 days old.

If it is truely smoked as in a smoke house, 1 week it is already cooked and is similar to chicken breast deli meat. If it has just had smoke flavoring added 1-3 days, it is raw, uncooked and needs to be used somehow rather quickly

As a good rule of thumb, you have three days to eat food after it has been cooked and stays refrigerated. Anything older then three days, your food starts going bad. Also, if you think the food has a funny taste to it, you should probably toss it.
