But people are allowed (and they should be even If I disagree with them) to say Jesus was a myth?

Allah did not become the Arabic word for god until after Muhammed created Islam.

How is saying that Allah was a Moon god an insult? He was that is an historic fact look it up, I am not even saying he is now a moon god just that he was when he was "created". And saying Jesus is a Myth is a denail of reality not an opinion the existence of Jesus, not his divinity, is confirmed in the historical records of Josephus, unless of course we want to say that everything Josephus wrote is a myth, then Ceasar, Herod, Celopatra and others are myths as well

And for the record I am acting as a rational being. Saying that Allah was a moon god is no different then pointing out that El Shiddah (abraham;s word for God) means god of the holy muntian. When did history become an insult. Yes if I look up Aramic Allah means god, just as in ancient egyptian Ra meant god, does that mean we worship Ra? The meaning of words change over the years, but the origin of a concept is historical fact. Non-Christians can deny that Jesus rose but they cannot deny that his movement changed history. I can deny that allah is anything but a pagan moon god dresses up, just as many non-christian say that Jesus was just a nice man not god. Why is one acceptable and one not? Why when we speak against islam is it an insult?

Yess, I know exactly what you mean....
The muslim population becomes overly-sensitive, insecure and agitated when someone mentions or questions anything relating to their Allah or so-called prophet muhammad and islam in general.

I guess Muslims take it to heart, too personally or with hatred. I've never reported people that dissed the Lord. I have reported people that have said all Christians should be crucified like Jesus was. I don't agree that threats shoul dbe allowed here. But I think you are entitled to think that Allah is a pagan god and have the right to say so. Many atheists and Muslims here say that Christ was only a prophet and not the Son of God. To each their own.

It's unfair, isn't it? Jesus said His followers would be subjected to persecution for His sake. Brother, this doesn't even come close to what real persecution for Christ is like. Praise God I have never personally experienced it, but I have read first-person accounts of such things. My sister worked with someone who'd been rather severely persecuted for Jesus' sake, so I know it happens. Read some of Richard Wurmbrand's works. They'll curl (or straighten) your hair.
By the way, the pagan moon god, Ilo, is probably really not where the word Allah comes from. A gent who's done a lot of research on many languages (and used quite a few of the in his missionary work over the years) says that Allah is most correctly considered the Arabic pronunciation of Elo. You've probably seen Elo in its plural form: Elohim, one of the Old Testament names for the Jewish and Christian God Who is also called Yahweh.

when you say moon god youre obviously throwing a very well directed insult and belittling people
when people say that jesus was a myth, they dont really insult, they just mention a mere opinion.
I think Yahoo does a pretty good job of telling the intention behind every sentence. If the intention is a belittling one...your question will be removed. Happened to me before. So I can speak from experience.

Are you questions getting removed, or are you just getting reported?. Try calling Allah a myth and see what happens. Questioning someones belief is different than calling their deity a name. If you want to be treated like a rational human being, act like one.

Because Allah is how people call the Supreme Being in Arabic, it's like Gott=God=Dio=Dieu etc.

if you think Allah only came after prophet Muhammad, then take a look at this Aramaic dictionary (the original language of Jesus) , type down the word God:

Most muslims are truly not aware of the origin of the name. They honestly see it as an insult to their religion.
