when you eat and just play game all day you dont burn the cals, it it take 3500 cals to gain one pound and 14 pounds to gain 1 stone.
Pizza Hut's large stuffed-crust meat lover's pizza (the whole thing has 4160 cals)
if you save up you can order 1 everyday 4 one week or more.
4160 cals x 7 days divided by 3500 cals = 8.32 pounds in one week.
do that and play your games, you will rapidly gain weight.
hope this helps you.

You are not getting enough exercise. If you sit and play games for long periods of time, that's not going to burn any calories. Also, do you eat while you play? When you're busy with something else while you're eating, you really don't notice how much food you consume. That could be a factor. But get outside and move around - that's the most important thing.

Let's see... the doctor told me that when you sit for long periods of time on a regular basis, your metabolism slows down. Since you aren't active, you don't burn fat. By spending all your time playing games, you aren't going out and doing things, even little things like running errands. Even just stepping out for a little bit gets your body moving and burning calories. Just think if you spent as much time exercising as you do playing online games, then you might be seriously fit.

With a good enough diet, that will not happen. Nourish your body thin, instead of starving your body fat. Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic load. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin and healthy. Salt has no calories but makes you fat and burning more calories does not help this fatness.
Find out about fastest way to lose weight, most effective exercise, good and bad fats, water retention and secret trick used by models to flatten their tummy before an event. Reading a book will take you hours but the information on a post, taking minutes to read, is not enough. The webpage below has just enough to know what you need to know. Links page has gov. BMI calculator to find out just how much overweight you are (teens plug in your age to compare to others your age).
You can force your body to lose weight with not enough calories, but if you continue it, you will starve to death. With an abundance of super healthy foods, you lose weight just as fast, but only until you reach your ideal weight. You can continue eating this way the rest of your life and always be at your ideal weight.

the fat in your body is not being used as energy so it builds up and up and up...and what you see is what you get ,if you are active the fat is used as energy and people "burn" the fat by being active walking even to the sink burns fat not much but a little adds up !
so next time you want something don't ask for someone to get it for you get it your self.

this question made me laugh out loud .
Why would you ask or think someone would gain weight by playing on line for a long period of time. If you don't exercises your body, eat healthy food everyday you will gain weight.

Well because children these days always play lots of videogames. we live in an environment called the "Y" generation.
Back in the good old days, it was a bliss. people didnt care about computers, people would run, and exercise as a matter of fact!!

this is happening to me.
i'm trying to come up with a way to attach my desktop to the handlebars of my racing bike as we speak. once that's done, i'll worry about the connection.
at any rate, even if i can't get a connection, i know i will suffer from fewer withdraws and overall, feel better, if i am able to pedal along with my keyboard right in front of me. :o)
