Seriously?
No really- Seriously?
Not only does the pure idiocy of this question astound me, but it's implication that the men and women that I serve with don't know what they're getting into- quite frankly, pissing me off.
If I've said it once on here, I've said it a million times. Everyone- Everyone, that signs that dotted line understands what may be asked of them. Contrary to what some people might think; We're not stupid. We know. We know what our jobs are, and that there is a very real possibility that we will be sent over seas. We except that, and we do our f-ing jobs.
So don't for one moment think that we want your pity. We would much rather you salute our flag draped coffins and be thankful that someone much better than yourself made the ultimate sacrifice.
It's very easy to pass judgment in front of a computer isn't it?
And as for these "innocent" Iraqi's you speak of; There's no such thing. Plan and simple. These people are raised to believe that we as American's are evil. That we are the "infidels". 10 & 11 year olds are taught how to preform executions and I myself have seen small children building bunckers ontop of buildings.
I'm sure that I speak for a lot of people when I say that having a couple thousand less people in the world, that would rather kill me than look at me...Makes me feel a lot better. We as American's are better off.

This is an offensive question. Did you know that more people are killed every year by incorrectly filled prescriptions? Whether you believe it or not there is evil in this world. We can't talk with these people. There's nothing they want to hear us say. We can't bargain with these people. There's nothing they want we will give them. Why??? Because the only thing they want is for us to DIE. They want YOU to die. They want your WIFE, your HUSBAND, your PARENTS, your CHILDREN to DIE. Stop listening to the liberals and believe this. There are people out there that teach there children that all Americans are evil and that they must kill us. There is nothing to be done but physical confrontation with these people. This isn't Fox, Rush Limbaugh, Shawn Hannity or anybody else but me. I spent the last three years on a submarine doing what I can, and I assume I'll be going to Iraq or Afghanistan within the next three years. Sure I'd rather there not be a war. But only because I'd rather there not be terrorists. I'd rather there not be people that want to kill me. I'm not afraid for my life, if I'm gonna go then I'm gonna go. I just hope I can do what I can in the mean time. Meanwhile, what have you mindless Hilary followers done for the good of the country and the world lately?

No. Should Johnson and JFK have been executed for the deaths of 58,000 servicemen and women, and hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese?
Should Eisenhower and Truman have been executed for the deaths of I think it was 20,000 servicemen and women, and a hundred thousand or so innocent Koreans?
Or how about FDR and Truman, should they have been executed for the deaths of nearly ONE MILLION American soldiers, and held responsible for the nearly TWENTY FIVE MILLION innocent civilians that were killed?
If President Bush is going to be held responsible for the lives of our brave American soldiers, then so is EVERY member of Congress and the Senate that authorized the use of force.
Oh, and 600,000 Iraqis have NOT been killed, at least, not according to the Iraqi officials. Why would they lie?

You really need to rethink your question. You need to realize that the military are fighting for our freedom. They made a choice to serve and protect our country. To protect you. Why do people seem to forget about what happened on 9/11. And further more they blame our president. Think about all the innocent people that have died because of the terrorist organisations. Our military and president are doing what they think is the best solution to protect us. The next time you have a question like that, keep in mind that you are doing nothing but slandering our military and those that support them.

absolutely amazing!!! He killed those people all by himself?????????
I live in a small city in Eastern pa. Metro area, about 1/4 million. In today's paper, there were articles about 3 people who died in auto accidents. They're just as dead as those killed in Iraq, but no one is creating a furor about that!
of course, these 3 deaths cannot be blamed on President Bush.

Unlike Vietnam, where a South Vietnamese Government that even the North Recognized asked for our help, the Invasion of iraq was clearly a violation of international law and comes under the heading of "waging aggressive warfare" a crime we hung many Nazis and Japs for. Not to mention the offenses against human dignity. Clearly Bush et al are War Criminals

Once a person is in power and has authority to act, uses his best judgement for decisions- may be right or wrong. Therefore it is not appropriate to punish him for some of his actions and judgement later on.
