They say that sins are the downfall of humans caused by Satan, but Satan was created by God himself wasn't he???

So playing along, if God had not created "Satan", humans would never have discovered sin right (Christians believed that Eve was tricked by Satan in the form of a snake...lol)

Satan turned on god, satan was powerful, so he became a bad person(thing) , it wasn't gods fault.

If I told you to go and rob a bank, shoot the teller, and run out with all the money = and you do it; who gets arrested? Me or you? You do, because you are the one who commited the crime. "the devil made me do it" isn't a very good defense. Man most of the time needs no help whatsoever for encouragement to do wrong. The sinful nature of man belongs to man; just because satan used that sinful nature of the flesh to temp Eve, doesn't mean satan is responsible for it - all he did was take advantage of what was already there.
Eve was beguiled by satan, not tricked. She had sexual relations with him; and it wasn't in the form of a snake (boy, you are so knowledgeable aren't you)- serpent is only one of satans many, many names.

You cannot blame God for our sin just because He created satan. Because when He created satan He create him naturally good. It is just Satan,s will to sin against God because of envy cause he want also to level with God. Also when God created evrything especially man He give us freewill to choose. He just serve as a guide for us to walk the right path not to command us on what do we do so if man sin it not God's fault but our fault always remember that.....

Eve believed the snake and questioned God along with the snake.

Man is born a sinner and already blames God. Terrorist kill innocent women and children and say it's in the name of God.

Blame God or wait for God to save? That is the choice perhaps you will make one day

good question and one i've always had that turned me away from xtianity. what up with creating satan and if he was a pain in the butt, banish him or kill him!! and if God found out adam and eve had been deceived and learned the "truth", why not just wipe them out and start all over. after all it took him one day to make adam and even less time for eve.

I've heard a lot of talk about freewill but i disagree that its any response to the question of why have freewill in the presence of evil. if you can control the universe then one of two things should be allowed

1) remove freewill, lets all be subject to evil then we can't be harmed by it and in essence we are not responsible for our actions.
OR
2)lets have our freewill but eliminate evil then hell and destruction and the like will be of no consequence.

i suppose this ulitmtely boils down to a "meaning of life" question. why are we here to begin with. is God playing some kind of game with us all. why shouldn't we all just be born in heaven if indeed we are all created pure of heart. whats the point of living here on earth.

Put it this way, if you leave a child to play in a room full of knives and razors and dangerous object and the child gets cut, who do you blame?? the child or you, the responsible adult who put that child in a potentially disatrous environment.

Did God create Satan the Devil? No, Gods works are perfect and good. (Deuteronomy 32:4) This spirit creature made himself both the Devil, meaning “Slanderer,” and Satan, meaning “Resister.” He was “drawn out and enticed by his own desire,” the desire to be in God’s place, and he set out to rebel against the Creator.—James 1:14.

God did not create Satan, he gave him free will.
The same as He has given the rest of mankind.
The ability to love God and His ways, or not (evil)

What mankind does with it's choice, is just that, a "choice"
mankind seems to believe itself is God.

How could God give us free-will without giving us the potential to sin? That is like having a free-election with only one candidate on the ballot and the inability to do write-ins.

Ya what's up with God giving mankind free will to choose his or her own path and not being robots.

You've convinced me...what type of God let's His creation make their own choices whether they be right or wrong! I mean what is He? A loving God?

I would much rather have no free thought or actions that way I wouldn't be human at all and be no different than the computer I am typing this on...good thinking.

The problems of the world should not be blamed on God. God gave man free will, a choice to do whatever he wants. We (humans) are to blame for the problems of the world. To be like Christ is to be perfect. However no one can be perfect on earth, but if we tried there would less problems. God allows stuff to happen in hope that it will bring us closer to Him. But, it will not work if we chose it not too. We have free will.

God send satan to test his people. And the world's problem now is brought unto themselves. Because God give people choices either heaven on earth or in heaven itself but people chose the heaven on earth instead and followed the satanic ways.
In other way to say it, GOd actually send people CHOICES...
