i hope you are warming your body up before you attempt to do a split, that's why your leg feels that way. i strongly reccommend warming up for at least 10 min on a stationary bike or treadmill.

ouch...split!! No can do...no want to do...I thought u were going to ask when you do a squat with 385 lbs.
