I'm 16, mexican-american, girls say that I'm cute, have a 4.0 gpa (but not a nerd), dress nicely, am athletic (play basketball) and definetely nice and mature, but I can be funny. Yet, I have not had one real gilfriend in my career in school. There was this girl whom I found out later liked me, but it was too late, i was going to a different school. How come I haven't had a girlfriend yet? Should I just wait or go after them?

Okay dude... I'm going to tell you something a little harsh. They aren't interested. You would make a great candidate for a boyfriend in many ways, but you:

1. Lack confidence. It is obvious because of you last question. You need to Google, "sexy body language for guys David DeAngelo", and do that. You need to believe you're attractive, and the girls will pick up on it.

2. Nice is HORRIBLE. Remember in kindergarten how you could pull a girl's hair and she would still keep playing with you, and on some level, she would fall in like with you and the other kids made fun of the both of you for it? It still works later!! You need to pick a girl and tease the hell out of her and be like best friends. Don't be shy, there's NO POINT to be.

3. Funny doesn't do SH- if it doesn't show that you are cool. You need to be almost a jerk, but keep it funny. Think of a way to pick on her but make sure it's funny. Maybe her heels or a weird mannerism. Say "Those heels... you must be four feet tall without them". Basically, look to get her to literally hit you, but laugh and stay.

That's all of it in a nutshell,
Franklin

You shouldn't wait for a girl to make the first move. What are YOU waiting for, huh? I'm a senior in high school and I just got my first REAL boyfriend in high school who was my friend that I really really liked. We hung out like as much as we could, and I never knew that he liked me back and We did this for four months until he asked if we were going out or what? I then said i donno but I really like you and he said good me too. then he said that he couldn't tell i liked him, I donno how he couldn't tell because i looked into his eyes and flirted but i guess guys don't get it sometimes, ANYWAY, We've been going out for two weeks now and have taken our relationship from being just friends to going out. Don't make a big deal out of asking a girl out because its really worth it in the end and make a move, what have you got to lose, them saying no and you being alone like you are now?

you know... i'm 17, and i've never had a real gf. i'm goodlooking, smart, funny, athletic... not to sound too over-indulgent.
i'm not too worried about getting a girlfriend because i know that one day i'll meet someone. there's really no rush, just enjoy life for what you already have

Females can smell desperation a mile away. So do not be over eager. You have to be cool about these things.

Because girls are pansy's so you have to ask them out, not wait for them.

Be friendly and you'll make friends. If it's love you are looking for , quit looking for it, she will find you
