I want to put my hair in french braided pigtails and sleep overnight so my hair is wavy in the morning when I take them out. Should I put mousse on it, hair gel, or just put it in braids alone? Any ideas to make it last all day without falling out? Thanks so much!

YES YES YES!!! Ok, fallow my instructions EXACTLY!!! and you SHOULD have perfect waves by dawn!!

1. wash hair REALLY good.
2. towel dry but instead of a bath towel, use paper towels and scruntch until damp dry,
3. place a quarter size amount of curl boosting &enhancing creme or mouse in your hair and distribute evenly
4. once your hair is ALMOST dry (air dry) make as many small tight braids as possible, try not to do 2 pigtails, or you will have a spot down the middle of your head that will be straigt.
(you might need a friend or mom to do this b/c they need to be tight and all the way down your head
5. place a bandana on your head covering the braids and tie tight behind your head
6. go to sleep!
7. when you wake up, take the bandana off AAFTER you get dressed and undo each of the braids one at a time from bottom to top
8. DO NOT GET WET! DO NOT BRUSH! getting it wet will make it limp and brushing it will make it frizzy
9.run your fingers through yuor hair with some flexible hold creme or gel( be careful when using gel, you dont want to weigh the hair down!!!)
WALK OUT THAT DOOR WITH YOUR HEAD HELD HIGH WITH THOSE BEAUTIFUL WAVES BOUNCING AT YOUR SIDE!!

If you have thick hair like me its gonna fall out before the days out no matter what you do. Just put in braids alone and spritz your hair with some hair spray after you take the braids out for a longer hold.

Just braid it, then when you get up in the morning put a little gel and hairspray.

I generally put some mouse in it and braid it in 6 french braids, then bind them very tightly so they dont fall out. after I take them out the next morning, I put hair lotion so it doesnt frizz!

Put on hairspray after you untie the braids in the morning.

you should probably not put anything in first cause if it rubs against the pillows it will get your hair frizzy or create fly aways, so once you take them out in the morning(wihtout product at night) you can put mouse in your hair to smooth those down
