Don't know. What another person believe's is personal and no one else's business.

Gererally speaking, emotionally stable people don't do it.

Possibly because of all the death and repression and dishonesty and destruction caused by belief in god.

For others, it's the disappointment they feel when they realize religion is just a con job.

Those are the two main types of reasons, I think.

a person told me life is not about the daily struggles of what we face but a struggle of principles and princapalities. Darkness rages to snuff out light. People that are not encouraging and kind to others are working for the wrong side of spirituality. Don't rage at the darkness but just let your light shine...........

When people say bad things about God (or you, or me) they are showing ignorance and fear about themselves. For some it is "fashinable" to use profanity, but the use of it shows clearly that they are not educated enough to use any other words.
