I was wondering what is wrong with all those diet pills that you see in drug stores. I'm assuming they are unhealthy or something because more people don't use them, but what about them isn't good for you?

What they sell is the idea that you will lose weight...self conscious sp? consumers off course buy it and then find out 10 times out of 9 it doesnt work[no not 9 out of 10, 10 out of 9]

It's the possibility of people abusing them for one.

Another reason is that just those pills alone won't help you loose weight on their own. You need to combine it with exercise and proper diet.

So people don't take them because they're either doing the exercise and proper diet or the diet pills are the cure all/complete weight loss magic pill people want...lazy people want that is.

They just don't work. There's a few drugs that have been administered to humans and worked, a few are Effedrine, Caffeine, Dinitrophenol or DNP, clenbuterol. Caffeine is the only legal substance left because it's in products such as coca cola and coffee and they have too much money to get put out of business.
