i own a repair shop and there's not a lot you can do to it that will help the mileage, maybe improve the exhaust system a little on it,and the air intake system on it other than that those didn't do the best in the world on fuel, but they are dependable ,but all i have ever seen are real hard on fuel, good luck,i hope this help,s.

Try a new air filter, use synthetic oil next time you change oil. Dual exhaust sometimes helps gas mileage. A computer chip or programmer can help also.

gas mileage is all about how you drive,if you hold it to the floor alot, well your throwing money away, to help if you dont haul a** all the time is to keep it tuned up,plugs, and try using a K&N air filter....
when you tune it up buy the best plugs you can afford, and try to stay with o.e. parts or their equivelent...

Stop driving it. But seriosly, install a K and N air filter, lighten up your foot, and plan your braking.
Best of Luck!
