he calls me but rarely talks 2 me in school. and he goes skiing with this other girl, but swears nothing is going on. he also writes me long notes and came over to my house saturday but he has never openly said that he likes me. he also invited me 2 a valentines dinner thing, doe that mean anything?

yea it could mean he likes you, the other girl may jus be his good friend cuz boys do have friends that are girls and only friends, n if he invited u 2 some valentines day thing then that may be his way of saying ur his valentine, maybe you should indirectly ask him if he likes you, try saying 'so do u like anyone' n he mite say no but then say 'i do but im not really sure' then he'll most likely say 'well there is this girl' n then just ask who

It sure sounds to me that he likes you. However, just because he likes you does not mean that he necessarily knows how to act around you all the time. Guys get nervous and confused too.
