My hair isn't curly, but it isn't strait either. Its just thick and frizzy no matter what I do. Does anyone know a good brand of shampoo and conditioner that really works??? I want that nice sleek look, but instead I get a frizzy mess! What can I use???

try these - cheap - Pantene Smooth and Sleek formula (shampoo and conditioner). Pricey - Matrix Smooth shampoo and conditioner.
then, i think you should try styling aids. My latest favorite is Kiehl's heat protective straightening formula, on damp almost dry hair.My hair is shoulder length, I use about a quarter size dollop, rub between my two hands and spread thru my hair from the back and/or underneath, working my way forward. Blow dry, using a round brush to pull hair taut, aim the dryer down from the top of your head to keep the cuticle flat against the strand. Otherwise you can make the frizz problem worse.
Also, just bought a great ionic tourmaline blow dryer from T3. It's expensive, but it dries my hair quick without super high heat or intense blowing. It's been helping me a lot. It will be interesting to see if I still have issues once the weather gets humid again, cuz that's when my frizz is the worst.
Also, if you blow dry, make sure your hair is really dry when you're done, not sorta dry, otherwise it could frizz up on its own.

I'm in the same position and still have the problem. What I am going to do is going to a salon and get my split ends cut and ask for any ideas. Don't go to a cheap salon, go to a more expensive one because they have better products and better hair dressers, and it's a fact! I got layers at one cheap one for $10.00 but there was no change really. She was really boring so I went to another one and it cost a little more and she was better plus she gave me some little free products.
To keep my frize to a minimum I use John Frieda FrizzEaze.

well....I have learned that you will never have the look like those with naturally straight sleek hair. I have the same problem! If you use a product designed to help straighten your hair, put it on wet, of course, and blow dry it straight using a large round brush. The use a little bit of wax or hairspray to keep it under control. Try leaving a little bit of condtioner in...dont rinse it all out or use a leave-in.

i think of anybody hates frizzy hair...its a nightmare to type! i think of promptly hair is greater classic and curly hair makes a metamorphosis for whilst going out etc. I additionally extremely like loose curls, so the hair is promptly till at last 0.5 way down yet curls unbelievable down on the tip!

go to a hair salon and they should be able to point you in the right direction, after they school you on what product is best for your hair type they'll shampoo/condition, cut and style your hair. say good-bye to your fizzy mess by setting up an hair appointment.
