Well there is this girl I kinda like, she is like my sister because she is so simalar to me, and we are working together, I am the president and she is the secretary. I called her for 3 or 4 times in the beginning of the year to get things going, but her family took it the wrong way, thining I liked her. Then one day at the meeting, we went on a walk to my locker and we discussed some of the problems I am having with the school. She told her parents that I discussed my problems with her and they suspect that I like her. She said no way, because if they met me they wouldnt think that I liked her. It is for some reason bothering me alot. I kinda dont want to run into their family because i am idk embarrsed but I didnt do anything but do my job. I am young (jr high) and kinda, not really want to date, cause I think I am too young, but I dont want to be involved with her after this and I just want to know how I respond to her and her family, cause I am seeing her tomarrow??

Like you said, your young.

Don't sweat it!!! Nothing to be embarassed about.

Don't hide your head in the sand. Feel fine to meet her parents. Be polite. Typically they won't say anything to you directly anyway.

If they do, dodge the question, saying something honest like she's a nice girl and we get along pretty well. Keep it at that.

(By the way, if you get along that well with her, you may want to keep your options open anyway. She may be like a sister now but you never know whether or not mutual feelings arise in the future.)

ITS NO BAD EITHER WAY.

Be honest about it all. You like her, she likes you, but at the moment you are not pining over each other. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. (There is also nothing wrong with actually liking her. Having a girl who is also a friend is a good thing to.)

Anyway take my advice and be fine with it and she'll respect you for it. (If you ever want to date her, so pretty well has to respect you and if you want to date another girl they are going to need to respect you.)

Listen to my advice only. Other people are going to give stupid answers.

Turn it all around. Say that SHE likes you and it is a little embarrassing. Tell her that if she doesn't keep it on the down low, there are going to be problems (then smile).

If you meet her family, then act like you're her big brother. BIG BRO, not little bro. Tell her she's a brat. Make a game about telling on her (to the parents) about impossible things that she does in school, like flirt with the math teacher and that's why she has an A.

This won't prevent them from thinking that you might like her, but SHE will start to think of you "in that way". She'll probably like you more and then you can keep teasing until one day, you can decide if you want her or not.

Okay?
