no u shouldnt, i believe that if u want to lose a little bit of weight, do it right and do not take any pills first of all....keep eating healthy and frequently, just make sure to take out all the sugary, white, fatty foods out and limit high glycemic foods as well...these are the ones that spike ur blood sugar and store fat...things that are refined so to speak and sugary. just develop a healthy eating system and not worry about dieting...so just make ur decision based on this. eat sensibly and excercise...and plenty of sleep..good luck

It doesn't sound like you are overweight and if you have dance classes everyday, then you have probably built up muscle and that weighs more than fat. Just because you might weigh more than others with your height, it doesn't mean you should go on a diet. You can go to the doctors and have a physical done and see what he/she thinks. Also there are tests that you can have done that show what your body fat percentage is. This is good to know. If you are a little heavier and your body fat is low, this would be a plus. It doesn't sound like you need to go on a diet.

if you really want to lose weight you should go on a diet.
but no more than 10 lbs would look healthy for you.
just be careful, and make sure people...especially your parents...know your doing it healthily.
or else they might get suspiciuos that since your a dancer there's a lot of pressur eon you to be a lower weight.
they might think you've gotten an eating disorder.
but it sounds like your already getting excercise in.
maybe just eat a little healthier.
eating healthier should make you drop a couple pounds in the first week, [:

if it's mostly muscle mass you shouldn't worry about it. if it's fat then yes, you should probably go on some kind of diet, but it sound like you get enough excercise so I don't think you should worry about it.

If you are obiese or overweight then i do suggest mabye going on a simple diet :]
What works for me is eating the wieght watcher meals for every meal. They really do work.
I lost a couple pounds in a week.

Make sure you still eat carbs. When you dance, if you didn't eat well enough, you body will burn your muscle instead of fat without carbs.

depending on what kind
if u mean eating healthier like replacing chocolate with fruits and vegetables or drinking more water sure
but if you mean starving yourself or skipping a meal, don't try it
