Recently, my family pet died, and I'm trying to search for a new dog. I want to get a dog of the same breed (He was a Tibetan Terrier). But since the breed isn't as common as most, I've had trouble finding ads in the Newspapers. I've also asked a breeder near me, but they said they wouldn't have puppies until the fall; but I'm not sure if I can wait that long without a dog.
Are there any place you can check in your town for puppies? I've tried online websites, but have so far found nothing, and they didn't have any at the animal shelter.

Did you contact the Tibetan Terrier club of America? If your that same person I thought I gave you the link yesterday. Let me look in another place and I'll give you the TTCA again also.
The first link is a search it may not come up for you but there are 8 people listed with litters around the entire country. Not many eh? The second link will be a page that you will have to check that you accept the search in case my search won't show for you.

Buy a magazine like Dog World or Dog Fancy and look at the ads in the backs of them. You can buy these magazines most anywhere. Many supermarkets and drug stores handle them. You can also contact an All Breed club in your area and they'll refer you to a breeder. Best luck finding that perfect pup!

Hi AKC. org and find the breed of dog you are looking for and I am pretty sure they have a breeders list attached to each breed.
