and i want 2 get 2 kno him. he is really nice and funny. my friends think that I make it too obvious I like him. I want 2 do some reasearch on him by myself, but how do i do it casually and start convos without going all up in his face like "Whats your favorite color... Sport? I like basketball, dont you? Yea I think it rocks! So so so..."
I dont want 2 be all freaky like that but i want 2 get 2 kno him and become friendz with him but i need help and tips on how! ThAnKs!

If your in school with him, and this reads like you are... it's really easy...
pay attention to what he wears most often... that's his favorite color or at least favorite shirt.
School reports are notorious for picking kids brains about favorite movie. sport. team, book ... also in this day and age... he's probably got a myspace site listing all those very things.

dont come out too strong Thats just freaky
make casual conversation start with a "hey how r u?" and then move on to some other topic like sports
i was playing basketball right now and i got hit on the head with the ball it hurt like hell
so do you like basketball?

wth? youve got a strange notion of dating and relationships... just ask him out to dinner. If he's interested in you he'll jump on the idea. if not, then he'll say so.
this will give you a golden opportunity to get to know him better. and possibly another date.
