how do i keep my hair messy but still in a neat and clean way?

After getting out of the shower, I use mousse and brush it then use my fingers and mess it up to my liking then use a hair spritz or sprunch spray and that usually keeps it the way I left it.

All u have to do is was it for about 10min and take a comb comb your hair down in let your hair dry and at night tie your hair up but tie it tight so the scarf want fall off your hair or just blow dry your hair

Use a styling mousse that keeps that mussed up look but doesn't attract dirt and flying debris. I also recommend shampooing your hair first. This assures no grunge!

wen ur hair is wet, den jus put sum low hold gel (for ex: da fructis gel spray) n blow dry on low... keep shakin ur head n voila!!

i just get mine wet and then kinda dry it but not all the way so it looks like its sort of highlighted and leave it till it drys!!

ooh y boyfriend has like kinda the same hairstyle...! ... he uses some kinda pomade made especially for shaggy-ish hair from got2b or bead-head one of those .... im pretty sure its bead-head... :)
