Adrenalin is that hormone that drives you to do something. Passion is perhaps what you may describe how adrenalin is experienced. If the adrenalin is the chemical, passion is the reaction to the chemical.

Both are caused by release of hormones and chemicals to a certain part of your brain. Adrenaline gives your body a rush of energy and heightened perceptive abilities to help you get out of danger. Many people use an adrenaline response much as they would caffeine: to get through the day and to stay at peak performance. Passion comes from a sense of connection with yourself, a project, or a higher power. It is often hard for people to distinguish between an adrenaline rush and passion.
