When a person looks at the sun he is actually seeing it eight minutes before it is actually happening. How many Christians actually bealive you cant actually see the sun as it exist. That's sort of like God isn't it. I dont know how to explain it but it feels like God. God bliss the christian page. Amen. Comments.

You don't see the sun eight minutes BEFORE it happens. The speed of light is fast, but not so fast that you can see it's future. You're seeing it just slightly AFTER it happens.
To compare looking at the PAST, yes, if you look at the stars, some of the light you're seeing happened decades ago, or even HUNDREDS of years ago, because it took that long for the light to reach us. It is sort of cool to realize that you might be looking at a star that hasn't even EXISTED for years now...in a way that IS like looking into the past.
