almost everytime i eat something..i get this wierd taste in my mouth..and feel like my throat is closing or swelling..i also quit smoking over a month ago...can this have anything to do with the strange taste get from time to time?...or is this thyroid symptoms?

A symptom of hypothyoidism can be like a feeling of your throat swelling. It would have nothing to do with the strange taste you have from time time. That's probably from quitting smoking. You taste buds are probably coming back.

That taste in your mouth is called flavor. Get used to enjoying it now that you have quit smoking.

You don't have any symptoms of any thyroid diseases that I know of.
