Bribery is a crime implying a sum or gift given alters the behavior of the person in ways not consistent with the duties of that person. Your parents are acting within their duties to care for and protect you. What you need to do is encourage or entice your parents to give your laptop back to you. Make them wish for you to have the gift and responsibility of unrestricted access to the internet. It is very easy to reveal too much personal identification on line. You could easily expose yourself and your family to dangerous situations.

Only earning trust and respect from your parents will convince your them of your ability to handle the responsibility. Take this opportunity to do something different. Is there an old desk top computer available for your room? Not connected? Computer games can help channel your aggressions. Can you borrow one or buy one? Be creative. I'm sure your parents will know when your ready to have your laptop back. If they don't notice a change in behavior patterns share your accomplishments with them.

Good luck,

Jen
