I know there have been lots of questions on this, but I haven't found what I'm looking for by reading those. I have light skin and dark hair. I started bleaching my upper lip hair when I was 10 or so. Then bleaching it just stopped working, so I shaved it every two or three weeks or so. This is over the course of about 2 and a half years. Around the time I turned 13 and several months after this, I had to start shaving it more frequently. Now I have to either shave or trim (with my cheap trimmer thing) it weekly. I have this ugly greenish tinge thing over my lip and I feel like a man! I'm almost 14, and expensive options like laser removal is out of the question. I also have fairly sensitive skin. What can I do to get rid of the shadow and not have to continue shaving my upper lip?

I also don't wear makeup and don't intend to.

it's too late to warn you that you are NEVER supposed to shave any kind of hair that may be sensitive, like lip or stomach hair that may stand out a little. you probably know that it is course and thick from the shaving, now that you have learned this lesson, STOP SHAVING AND TRIMMING!!! that's the first step. other options besides laser removal is frequent waxing and using surgi or Nair facial removal cream- both are easy and work well. good luck!!!

this is a hard one. consider finding a hair removal cream for sensitive skin. try Nair face cream. and about the greenish tint stop shaving it and use a bronzer and light concealer to cover the tint and then apply make up normally. good luck

i know what you mean. shaving worked for me but is a pain. you could try waxing, i myself am too chicken to try it but my friend siad it barely hurts. go to a salon or try it at home.
