i just got a new pug. i dont even know his age. i have 2 cats inside the house so i dont want to bring him inside because im sure theres no way they would get along. i also have two dogs outside. both of them are mixed. one is a mix between labrador and pitbull so you know she isnt that nice. the other one well im not sure but is a medium sized dog that looks like a husky but isnt. the pug is a neutered boy and the other 2 are girls. from what they have seen of each other, my two dogs dont seem to like him at all. i wanted to know if they would ever get along or if i would have to give the pug away.

my cats live inside. my dogs live outside because well they are big. and i when i said isnt that nice i meant that well isnt friendly with strangers. but she is a sweetheart with us and my cats when the interact. i love my pets. oh and i got the pug as a favor. i was only to keep him while the real owner finds a good home for it. but i was just considering keeping it.

Bring the pug inside. Make sure your cats have a safe place away from the new dog. With time they will come to some type of "understanding" and may even become friendly. This is a much safer alternative to leaving it out with the big dogs.

Wow- lots of pets, I would consider giving the pug a chance with the cats, since you don't know that much about the pug,and with already alot on your hands-you might find a perfect i pet style home with plenty of love to give hI'm!I'm not trying to preach to you,im just saying-i am a HUGE animal lover, but even i can not spend a decent time with all those pets, plus another one!For the Pitt. mix,try some obedience classes to settle her some, if you keep the pug,and they never meet-the Pitt might get Territorial and attack the pug!You don't seem to know much about your dogs :(
But I'm sure if you try, you will find the answer to your own Q!i hope this helps!

ohh... ok-that new info changes alot :) I think try and see how he fits in..... ten make a choice:)

I honestly have to agree with Trouble's Mama.

If you really insist on keeping the dog, I would suggest keeping it inside your house with your cats. The dog will eventually stop 'picking' on your cats I would think.

I honestly feel you should find him a new home. Why did you get him if you didn't know how he'd fit in with your other animals?

Also, this is just a curiosity question, why have animals that don't live inside with you? Especially having one that you say "isn't that nice"? I just don't understand.
