Well I just got contacts two days ago(idnt wear them yesterday) but on the first day i had trouble taking them off which was the hardest for me. I already know how to put them in and keep my hands clean, its just i waste my time poking my eye and help or an easier way to take em off?

Drag them away from your pupils so they are have in the white of your eye, with your pointer finger. Keep your finger on the contact and pinch it between the pointer finger and thumb. Squeeze the contact so it folds up a little bit, and pull right out.

It can be helpful to look in the mirror while doing this, so you know you're touching the contact, and not your actual eye.

The first few days of contacts can be a scary experience - after all, we learn early on touching our eye hurts!

The best thing to do is take your time - there is no rush to get them in or out. Using your third finger, pull down on your lower lid - then use your forefinger and thumb to pinch off the lense - for me, it's easier if i look way up, and not straight ahead - sometimes watching makes it harder

The good new is after doing this for a short while it will become MUCH easier, and you won't be able to imagine life without the contacts.

If you are still having trouble after a few days, by all means return to where you got them and ask them to walk you through a few ways to take them out, until you find the one you're comfortable with!

I've found that the best way to take out contacts (I wear them too.) Is to take your left hand for the right eye or the right hand for the left eye and hold you top eyelid up by pressing your eyelashes to the skin in between your eyebrows and eyelids. Then use the other hand to gently pinch the contact and take it out. That's how I learned. But the best way is just to practice. I remember how hard it was for me to take out and put in my contacts when I first got them a year ago. If you don't give up and keep wearing them then it'll get easier and faster to put them in and take them out. Don't give up!

What helps me is to touch the part of my contact near the right corner of my eye then I look up. When my eye moves, the contact is held in place my by finger and then I can gently slide it out. You don't need a lot of pressure on your eye in order to do this.
