I like Real Science 4 Real Kids. I have a BS degree in Biology/Chemistry and I prefer non-religious based Science texts. If you are looking for a Bible based Science curriculum this is not for you. This is strictly based on science and known, proveable facts.

For texts, I like Joy Hakim's Story of Science (there are three books in the series.) I also love The Usborne Internet Linked Science Encyclopedia because of the internet links, and the encyclopedia is good on its own as well. We read each section and then look up the links afterward, and find them to be fun & educational.
I would also recommend the science/social studies & geography games at www.iknowthat.com. You need to register but it's free, and they don't email you or anything. They just keep track of your child's points and cards etc. at the site.

TOPS ( http://www.topscience.org/ ) has secular science materials (mostly physical science, but I know there's some biology). If you're looking for a Bible-based science, try Apologia. The first link below will take you to their recommended schedule; it starts at seventh grade, but Jeannie Fulbright has written a similar style of curriculum for younger students (see second link below)

I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the person that said secular science in based on proven facts.
Still waiting for all that proof of evolution and point of origin to start rolling in (snicker snicker)
Now, off my soap box and on to real science.
My favorites are ABeka and Apologia. My daughter used both and is one of the stongest science kids I know. She is currently taking a secular biology course through Texas Tech (which is the exact same course the 9th graders are taking at our PS highschool up the road) and she has a 100% average in the course mid way through.
100 percent. I do not have access to answer keys and I never even see her tests (they are mailed to a proctor)
I firmly believe that her success in science comes, not only from a God given gift she has, but from a very strong scientific background she has from these two awesome Creation based programs.
funny how she can study science for four years from a "God's eye-view" and smoke a secular class.

Bob Jones University has pre-K to 12'th grade curriculum. You can just type in there name on google and read all about it...thats what I did.

A Beka has pretty good science. They're in Florida. Also Calvert has pretty good science, but they're a little expensive, they're in Maryland.

Send your kid to school. Home school with give them social disorders.
