You could do 1 of 2 things. Have your fiance call places for a tuxedo rentals or to buy and see how far in advance you need to get fitted and what not before the wedding. And if it is possible that you can fly into SC to get fitted then go ahead and then just have your fiance pick up the tux afew days before the wedding. Or you could buy one in Michigan and take it down to SC when you fly out for the wedding.

NO NEED to WORRY!

If you do have a great tailor like me, you need not worry about getting a Tux for March 25.

If you have someone to take your measurements, i can tailor a tux for you based on your measurements. Your decide the fit while you take measurements. You decide whether the fit is snug, loose, comfortably loose or exact.

Log on to the website www.tailorontheroad.com choose a fabric, edit the measurement form, put in your details, style number with fabric number and have your suit in 7 - 10 days. Rest assured that there will be no major alterations to be made.

You have your style in mind, not a problem. Send a photo of your style of Tuxedo and get it custom made only for you.

We are based in NYC.

And you definitely do not have to fly to South Carolina.

Our wedding was in Michigan, but my father lived in Virginia. We used After Hours for our tuxedos because they could arrange for my father to be measured in Virginia but pick up his tux at a local store in Michigan. They usually recommend reserving your tux 2 months in advance. But I'm sure arrangements can be made if you call right away. Be sure to contact them first thing in the morning. If you do plan to get measured in Michigan but pick up your tux at a local store in SC, just be sure to make arrangements to be fitted at least 2 days before your wedding just in case adjustments need to be made. If you decide to get your tux in Michigan, do not ship it, take it with you on the plane and return it when you get back.

You'd better go right now. It takes time for fittings. Get going or it will be too late. Take Tux on the plane or with you if driving there so it will not get lost again. Good Luck

It's best to order tuxes at least a month or two before to get them properly fitted and if you're having it shipped have the store send it to where you're getting married to and if Fed ex lost your first one they should be responsible for compensating you for the loss since it was their fault.

I would say now! I'm getting married in May, and my fiance and his groomsmen had to be measured by March 1 - tomorrow. So go.... go get that tux! Congrats and good luck!

Maybe you could have her to get the tuxedo in SC so you can avoid any problems again. Send your fiancee your measurements so she could get the tux.

Good Luck
