We are planning a trip to Cape Breton Island this summer and are looking for some suggestions of where to stay and fun things to do. This is likely going to be our wedding/honeymoon trip and we are looking at staying for about a week or 10 days. We will be travelling with our small daughter who will be almost 2 at the time. Any ideas and suggestions would be fantastic.

The scenery along the Cabot Trail is spectacular!!!!!
Stay in a Bed and Breckfast. They are quaint and friendly and a great opportunity to sample some of Nova Scotia's famous hospitality! (search online.)
This is a beautiful part of the world. Great choice for your honeymoon!

Otherwise, I would take the time to send off for the "Doers and Dreamers guide that the Province of Nova Scotia puts out each year. It will have descriptions and costs of most of the accomodations available in Cape Breton. With a two-year-old, you might want to be thinking of family-oriented places - and the guide will help you out quite a bit. the climate in Cape Breton is fairly plenty the comparable as Maine so whenever you will in many cases trip at house is stable using in Cape Breton too. In July and August there will be extra site visitors on the roads although this is in no way very undesirable.
