I have tried the flat iron protection spray, but that doesn't help. I LOVE my hair long, but I have to cut it more often because of my spilt-in's! What should I do???

I totally understand I Love my hair long too. So I say go ahead and cut your hair but only an inch or two. This way the ends are gone and you hair may even grow back faster so its longer. How cool!!!!

Flat Iron protection spray only protects hair from the heat, not the problem with your split ends. Yes, anybody who uses a straightener will experience split ends much more often than those who don't. The solution is to get the ends trimmed about every 6 to 8 weeks. The only way to keep your healthy is to do this, and makes the hair appear to be shinier and healthier, but also makes hair grow faster. <3

I would say just trim a very small amount on a regular basis. This keeps me from having split ends. You could also try a special conditioning treatment apply it to the ends.

condition your hair real good. maybe try putting some leave in conditioner in your hair as well. Always trim your ends at least once a month to prevent split ends. If you do not trim you ends you will have breakage.
