I eat about 5 bananas and 3 apples a day is that unhealthy?

Darling, this may not be too much fruit. However, you can have too much of anything. Remember Ben Franklin's moto - "everything in moderation". You may end up consuming too much Vitamin A. Are you eating other foods also, so that you can get protein, calcium, other vitamins and minerals? This is quite a bit of calories - as many as 900. It is important to have a balanced diet. You could be ignoring important other foods, or if you still eat them, you could be eating too many calories a day. Too much food in and not enough energy out could make you gain weight. Yes, these foods are good for you but it might be too much of one type of food. According to eating plans like the South Beach Diet, this could drive your glycemic index through the roof, mess up your blood sugar and make you crave foods that are bad for you. If you are going to eat too much of a food however, bananas and apples are a pretty good food to overeat.
