Tricky, tricky territory. There is a HUGE possibility that someone will get hurt - you'll either lose your best friend, her brother, or both. IF you even dare start things up with him, talk to her about it first... the last thing she needs is to hear about the two of you through another source. Remember where your loyalties are.

OH MAN! I remember growing up I had a major crush on my best friends brother for the loooongest time. He ended up being my first kiss and everything. It really was amazing. Take it from me it can happen, but being the brother of your best friend it will cause some issues at some points. For example if she is mad at him then she will want you to be mad at him as well. Or if you call the house to talk to her and he answers he will get upset cause you don't want to talk to him.

i say you can, but your brother might get mad. i'd say the first way to make him like you is by becoming his friend. maybe you really don't like him. maybe you like him even more. then you can ask him out when you think he likes you. i'd say if he looks at you in your eyes when you talk. i'm not really sure. i'd say it depends on his personality to know if he likes you. so thats why its good to be his friend = ) good luck!
