The Quran states that Islam HAS to be the largest religion. Why do you think 68,000 become Muslims PER DAY? Christians are persecuted in Islamic states.
In the west however, it's almost the exact opposite, other than the fact Muslism aren't exactly "persecuted", but discriminated against.

You're asking a blanket question that isn't necessarily fair to Muslims (or any particular religious group.) In any group of religious believers, a certain percentage will feel strongly enough to try and spread their belief system among others. After all, that's what happened with Christianity over the past 2000 years, didn't it? The very vocal/adamant ones are the people who tend to get noticed by others, including the media. I'm a Catholic Christian myself and I haven't encountered a Muslim who tried to convert me. They have explained their beliefs and practices to me so I could gain a better understanding (which I appreciated), but they didn't try to change me to their religion. I have met many more Christians who tried to convert me to their particular brand of Christianity.

I don't know what btw means but, I think it's okay to answer this, given there is a silence in place. If you really are a true believer, you won't want to violate that.
Essentially - it's the same as those among protestants who aren't really saved. They have a false gospel, to begin with, so they figure if they immerse themselves in this activity this proves to their subconscious they are saved and ' worthy of God.' So too the Muslim.
If you're protestant, you are so because you recognize the direct contradictions of the Catholic Church to the most rudimentary doctrines of scripture and putting works above grace.
Too, you will recognize the false denominations from the true one.
Too, given that the abomination of desolation is in place, why would you wish to occupy a temple where Satan himself is being worshipped?
In the false gospels frenetic activity that goes nowhere spiritually is a standard trait. Many of these people in Islam themselves feel that God has abandoned them. Whom they call Allah, but it is not the case.
Look this up and think hard upon it: Zechariah 13:4
In all good conscience and a healthy dose of proper fear, I can't go beyond that.

It's not just Muslims. You see it that way because you're Christian. Those of us who have the wherewithal to think for ourselves realize that both Christianity and Islam are screwed up religions that have brought about pain and suffering for centuries. The fact is that religions strive to convert people because people have money and religions need money to stay afloat. Among other sick reasons.

Maybe because a man who has something so nice as Islam and Islamic knowledge, he like to show it and share it with others. Beside many other reasons.
And Allah knows better.
