Amish schooling, help please?

ok, if the Amish children go to high school. is there a punishment??

what happens if they go to high school or schooling past 8th grade?

Well I doubt they'd be punished for such a thing, I think it may be more like after a certain age they put more effort into helping their family and community thrive, once they are old enough to do so.
