Yes. Women who are capable that is, should be allowed. Not all can cut it however. There were women fighting in the Civil War with artillery--right beside their husbands. Suppose all the men were injured/killed? Who would cock the cannons then??

yes. rather sexist question we have here, dont we? anyways, if im addressing your question correctly, women have served in wars before, helping create artillery shells & weapons. They had risked their lives in doing so during world war 1 & world war 2. still, they were determined to help their country. some received TNT poisonings and their skin would become yellow, making them known as girls with yellow hands. although they didnt fight directly in the war, they contributed a great deal back then. so why shouldnt women take their place in war?

Canadian Forces Allows women in all occupations except Submarine Duty and Roman Catholic Chaplains. If they can pass the training they should be allowed to do anything the guys can.

As a former soldier in a cavalry unit .. women needed certain things and on the battle feild was not the place to find them. I dont really want to generalize but I personaly have seen women in very similar roles and it wasnt a good environment for them and they were very unhappy..Besides on the battle field to many emotions could get in the way.... and to explain you have to ask a series of questions.... I have seen some of these answered in the middle east,,,,what is going to happen to the morale of the troops around her if she were to have an attraction to one of her fellow soldiers ( dont laugh under war time circumstances any thing can happen...will she require as much attention as the mission ...will she be a distraction...will she be distracted... I am not saying any thing about toughness, but you have to ask your self if being in a combat environment is right for a female with the noises the smell and the stress of war .. I have seen guys who could not handle it

Well as a woman who has served in the military I'd say yes if she can meet the same standards as the men she is serving with... why not... I wouldn't want to do it...I was perfectly happy w/my personnel job...but hey to each their own.

Sure. After they get married they don't listen anyway so some hearing loss from the 105mm and 155mm guns will be of no consequence. They will hate the shopping around Fort Sill.
