Although an apple is food, it's also a plant. Plants have different species. Why not ask this question in the Science category...then to Botany?

Um. I think apples come in different because: Green apples are sour. Yellow apples are sweet well to me. Red apples are normal.

The same reason people come in different colors. The world would be boring if only one color of apples existed, and the darker apples stopped blowing up buildings in airplanes.

Apple will not come out with a diffrent color...thay want to stay with the sleek desagn.

ehm, from what i know is because apples have different sweetenest that based on the colour. that's why. i think :-)
