I know sex is not the most important thing in a relationship, but it is an important part. How much importance do you place on it? Can it be a deal breaker for you? Or do you feel a so-so sex life is something you can just learn to live with?

Sex life has to be satisfying for a person, or their disappointment/unhappiness will show up in other areas of life, and then basically doom the relationship anyway... it's really important... also, along with money, it's the top reason that married couples fight and even divorce... so yeah, it's VERY important.

Sex shouldn't be a part of any relationship besides marriage. I mean i would feel like trash if i woke up the next morning in bed knowing that i slept with a guy that i don't really know loves me. any person on this earth that can talk can say i love you, but actions speak louder than words. If a person really loves someone then that person will respect you and your virginity until you are married. And it is also wrong to use contraceptives during marriage because you're being selfish. The only logical reason to have sex is to create a child. I don't know if you are Christian or Catholic like i am but if you are you should already know that.

Sex is an important part of a relationship. If it were not, then they would just be my friend.

The so-so sex part is no reason to break up with someone because if you are committed to your partner and you care for each other, then you can teach them about it. Even though 99% of the people out here will lie about it, being good at sex is a LEARNED trait - it is not something you are born with.

Unless you were me.

I believe that if there is no sexual chemistry there, that could pose a problem.

But at the same time, I believe you can work with a person, tell each other what you like, and vice versa...and perhaps things will get better.

But in my relationship, as of right now, sex isn't really important to me at all. I am pregnant and my hormones are out of wack and I really have no desire...

But on the other hand, when I want it, it better be good. lol.

I personally could deal with a so so sex life after initially having sex with that person, but could not be with someone who did not want sex period, and I could only deal with a so so sex life if I really loved that person.

I for one could not learn to live with a so-so sex life. It has to be hot and new and exciting... if the guy isn't willing to try, I'd have to think long and hard about whether or not i could live with that forever. And I think I'd decide that I couldn't. Do you think marriage kills the passion? I really hope not.

because sex feels good, it is like masturbation. We should have sex once day and you will realize that sex feels so good. Hell! I am only keeping my girlfriend for sex and I won't dump her until either one of us dies. I don't love her or anything.

I think it is very important. Well at least when you are younger. Now, this is just for me. Everybody has a different libido.
