I have removed wallpaper from every room in my house this way:
Use a "paper tiger" (you can get these at any hardware store) and score the paper well. It may be tedious, but peel all the vinyl top layer off first. You may need to score the under paper again. Then all I do is put HOT water in a spray bottle and saturate. Let it set a few minutes(just not until dry) and scrape away. I have tried the products on the market and have disappointed. Hot water alone has worked very well!

Take a spray bottle add 1/2 water & 1/2 fabric softner (cheep stuff will work and cost lots less). Spray the wall paper till wet, be sure to put down towels or rags to catch drips, wait a few minutes until wall paper is soft and peel right off. Wipe walls with a damp rag to clean off exess softner. If the wall paper has a shinny coat it will take a little longer to remove because it doesn't asorb as well, however will still do the job.
Does work better than wallpaper remover and is alot cheeper.

If you don't want to buy or rent a steamer that does the job, try spraying it with water from a spray bottle. Let it soak for a bit and then scrape with a putty knife or something similar. A sponge or wet rag will also work. They sell wallpaper remover chemicals at hardware stores but I would try the 'natural' and cheap idea first!

Use fabric softener (such as downy) in a spray bottle mixed with a little water.Spritz on the wallpaper.....let sit for a few mins. and the paper will remove easily.
I've used this several times and found it better than an actual wallpaper remover.
Hope this helps.

They have a wallpaper scraper, it's almost like a wire brush, you go over the wall and scratch the paper, then get a steamer and steam the paper off.
Or you can get a really good primer, like Bullseye 1,2,3 and prime it and then paint over it. Removing wallpaper is a big deal!

lots and lots of water. what i do is peel off the first layer. underneath is a paper like stuff. soak it like crazy, let it absorb for a minute or two then use a putty knife and scrape. should come right off.
