I want my dog to sleep with me (very small dog) - how do I do this without it pooping/peeing all over me? I definitely want it to sleep with me, but I've never done it before, so I'm scared to take the risk - please help me!

House break the dog first then the dog will sleep with you and not mess the bed. Dog wont mess your bed any more than they will their own. Even dogs in the wild will not mess in their den.

you can't force your dog to sleep with you. don't worry though theres nothing to worry about. my dog sleeps with me every night (hes a Boston Terrier) and never poops or pees, hes so cute though when he gets cold he goes under the covers. is your dog a puppy or not potty trained? If he isn't trained yet than don't let him sleep with you. if he is trained than just bring up on your bed (or call him to jump up if he's big anough and just make him lay down and pet him saying what a good dog he is. He'll probably stay the night.

If he doesn't stay the night just keep on getting him used to your bed and eventually he will.

PS be warned that once he sleeps with you he'll never stop lol

Good luck!

how old is the dog? if it's trained it shouldn't, my dog sleeps with me on my bed all the time and he's never done it. maybe it depends on the dog but you should just try once and see. :)
