My hair was like that but then I cut it a bit and got it thinned out because it was just so hard to find a style for it.But a way I did mine was like a surfer chick,I got a special type of gel and when my hair was damp I but the get in my hands and put it in my hair and kinda grasped my hair with my hands it looks sloppy at first then when its dry brush it and it looked great!

my hair was the same only curly. I was sick of wearing a ponytail all the time so i got it cut and thinned now i love it...i used to battle with it everyday, it took me 15 minutes in the shower with a gallon of conditioner just to be able to comb through it. now it takes me less then 2. and my hair air drys in less then an hour now! if you dont want to lose the length I would suggest getting it thinned, styling in general is eaiser.

Well, you should put it in a half-ponytail. Or, you could layer it and thin it out. You could also braid it into a lot of smaller AND TIGHT braids. (emphasis on tight) (keep the braids for a long time because it takes a long time to do those). I'm quite sure that your hair will look thinner.

Yah! Same here! I think the best look is when you put it in a half ponytail, you know, split your hair in half, and with the top part, you put it up in a ponytail. Use gel too, that calms my hair down. Or you can just put it in a bun.

i hav rly thick hair too, and i straighten it, and then leve it loose, even tho it takes a long time, it's too much trouble trying to put it in a complicated style.
