Because, it is their own thoughts and originality for the same questions being asked over and over again.
Someone with common sense would have known this.

I think that it is still quite original thought process. We, Christians believe the Bible is true, so I see the Bible verses used a lot. I have never answered with cut and paste stuff, you can see it clearly when "check Spelling" is not working.
My answers might sound oftentimes like a broken record to some people, but the message is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow: God loves you. : )

Laziness is the lack of desire to act or work in general or to do an act or work that is expected of a person. In extreme cases, a generalized tendency to do nothing may verge on apathy and be a symptom of depression. What is considered laziness varies according to personal or societal context and magnitude. Laziness can be considered an exaggeration of the natural instinct to get healthy rest and conserve precious energy. Laziness is usually associated with procrastination. Laziness is considered by some Christians to be one of the seven deadly sins, though it is called sloth on the list.
The expression "intellectual laziness" is frequently used to describe a tendency to not ask questions, and not to scratch too much behind the apparent, applying a kind of mental routine (availability heuristic) or just following the crowd (herd behavior).

If I find something on the web I agree with I will copy/paste it just because it is faster than typing. Also, typically it is stated more clearly that I could have done myself. I will always list a source it I copy/paste in keeping with copyrights.

In some cases,it might be neccesary for a person (say, with a disability that makes it hard for them) to write something themselves, and then instead of writing it out again every single time it comes up,they might copy it to the answer box.

Some out of laziness or greed for points, others out of being unable to create their own answers, and others out of deference to what they believe first said by others more clearly to deem the reference with due honor.

I did a quick search, but couldn't find anything to cut and paste, so I'll have to do this on my own

Well if you are referring to Christians, you answered your own question. They are unable to think for themselves.
