Just be honest. Be honest with yourself about what you want and be honest with her about what you feel. If that ruins things then there really was never anything to ruin.

first, you probably want to just casually ask her friends what she thinks of you. they won't suspect anything, cuz c'mon, you two r friends. flirt when ur around her, and watch how she reacts and stuff, if she thinks it's kinda wierd she'll back off and stop talking to you for a while and start talking to someone else. if you guys go out places as friends, maybe you should offer to take her someplace out of the ordinary or sumthing.
