my dog is sucking on his butthole and pooping in his mouth then he puts his mouth under my cats butt when it is pooping and eats the poop! what do i do?!

My vet once made a comment about another owner's dog doing that when I was asking about my dog's silly behaviors. He made some off the cuff comment about nutritional needs... SO, make a call to your vet and ask if your dog might be trying to tell you that they're missing something in their diet.
Mother dogs do that for their pups after they are born - and before they are able to walk and go take care of going to the bathroom themselves.
Otherwise... the dog is being a dog. They do some wild things. (It's why I won't let my Chow dogs "kiss" my face! LOL!)

I would change his or her dog food.Dogs that eat their poop are missing vital nutrients. I have to ask if by chance you are feeding your dog science diet? I see this problem a lot with that particular food.

You NEED to keep your dog from eating cat feces. That can cause the dog to get parvo. Parvo is very deadly. I have had a dog die from it.

Ewwwww... ba-d mental image-i could of gone my whole life without knowing that :)
Make sure he knows that is bad-spray him with water if you have to-if you ever have guests,i don't think they will want to see that!!
Ewwww... still getting over that!I'm not sure what else to do-but make sure you teach him to stop!Also-how old is he,what breed?Ask your vet,he might have more answers then us!Good luck i hope i helped a bit!
