What proof is there that the bible is true?

You say it is inspired by God, but how do you know that? How do you know that it isn't a load of crap? How do you know that it was translated correctly through all of these centuries? What proof do you have that these stories are like fairy tales based on myth and superstition?

Do you believe everything that anybody says is true even though it has flaws?

What prophesies have been fulfilled besides those same old vague ones that everyone talks about? Such as the world getting more evil, wars, etc.

What are the grounds for your belief? Logic or wishful thinking?

Wow! You sure are arrogant to make such claims about the most popular book of all time! The Bible is not a book, but a collection of 66 different books written by 40 different authors spread over 3 continents in a time span of 1,500 years.

Yet the meaning is the same. The message throughout the Old and New Testament is the same. The Old Testament is God's promise to destroy death. The New Testament is how God did it!

Ive just read a book recently called the code of the bible. It is very interesting, but didnt like the translation, anyway it talked about that.

I don't now much but i know that sciences have studied the bible and use the bible as a guide to find stories they didn't believe but Regine true. is places in the middle east right now real life places were some of these story took place.. is real baby any thing that come from God is true if you only believe in your heart . but i think facts tell it all sometimes they show bible stories on the history channel. and than to check it for yourself to see if is true but be open minded PEACE AND LOVE!!!!!!!

Fulfilled Prophecies and the fact that if I ask God for an answer to something I can open my Bible to scripture which is relevant to my situation. I have gotten direct answers. If it were not true, God would not have planted it in my heart to follow it. He will never leave me nor forsake me.

Actaully only some parts of the bible are true. Christian's never understand that.... So ya it's only partially true because when people were translating it if they didn't understand a scripture they would go pray and meditate about it then came back and share thoughts on it and put down what they thought it meant. Also sometimes if they didn't understand it at all they would just take the scripture out completly and say "Oops! It didn't make sense so we'll just skip it."
