He says, "Good morning, ma'am!" to me with a smile. He eats Tuesday morn breakfast with me. He walks me to church off campus. He invites me to come to a basketball game with him and his friends. He jokes and teases me. Whenever he realizes we have something exactly in common and whenever one of us finishes the other one's sentence/thought during a conversation, he smiles. When I call him for help with schoolwork, he is very polite and tells me to call him if I need anything else. But, it seems like he is just a friendly guy like that with everyone and he has lots of friends that are girls with whom I can never compete (in the social sense not the physical attractiveness sense) because I am quite timid and a bit of a nerd-geek hybrid. Should I just ask him out? Won't he feel all wierded out if I do and he's just being friendly? I don't want to spoil our relationship as friends ... at least I know he likes me as a friend now because he is willing to hang out with me on occasion. HELP!!!!

Would you just ask the guy out!!! If he really is this great guy and is not interested in you romantically, he will tell you and still be your friend. Take the risk!!! Go for it!!!

But if you keep fretting over your dilemna, he will be eating Tuesday morning breakfast with you in the mental ward!!!

Sounds to me that he really likes u, but he's trying to feel u out first. I had a guy treat me sort of the same way, and we eventually started dating a year later. Trust me even though he may have other girl friends, he is not treating them the same as u. He really likes u girl, but just wait to see his next move.

Okay...I think you should gradually move things forward. Maybe get a little closer to him at a basketball game, see how he reacts. Smile at him more, make eye contact more, show him your interested in him but dont make the first move!! make him make the first move, and if he doesnt then he just wants t be friends, and if he is interested then maybe hell ask you out!

I am like that to all my friends that are girls, he sounds the same. If hes anything like me, he'd say yes. I like the girl thats considered a nerd, and would definitly say yes. But, then again, he might be just the guy who is polite to everyone. I know a girl like that that i feel the same way you do towards her that you do to him >.< It might be easier to let him let you know that he feels the same way, but then again it might be the right thing to let him know you like him. Really, in the end, its up to you how strongly you feel about him.

He's being friendly. I bet he also treats his other lady friends similar way.
But if you feel attracted to him, you should ask him out.
If you want to go out with him because you're desperate to get a boyfriend then I'd advise you not to ask him out.
