A question for christians about John 1:1?
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Now if we read the original Greek scriptures...
-The first "God" is a translation of the Greek word θεον = God
-The second "God" is a translation of the Greek word θεος = god

Why did the writer of the Gospel choose different words if he wanted to say that Jesus is God?
The verse simply says: there is a god with God = Polytheism.

θεον = Accusative case of θεος
θεος = Nominative case of θεος
Same word just conjugated according to the grammar, i.e. run, ran, running are the same word. Notice "...and the Word was God." This is not Word and God are one the same but rather "the Word was characteristic of God".

Yo are right, but for additional details you shall seek the hebrew, the first word used is YKVK*, which we read Amonay, and is the personal name of God, and the second is Elokim.
On the Hebrew are many ways to refer to God, and mistakenly they were all translated as one, and, even more mistakenly another hebrew words that are related to angels, great persons, prophets, and else, were also translated as god.
Between those words is elokim, which correct translation is authority no God, but that we can understand as a minor god, or something with some kind of power.
So, in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was an elokim.
Jesus is good but never he has been God neither the holy ghost.

-> He didn't. You're boiling the ocean with your thoughts. What John is saying that in the beginning we had God's word (Old Testament). It's God's word that leads us to God. It's through His words we get to know Him. The Old Testament prophesied about our Saviour to come.
In the New Testament, John 1:27 he talks about our Saviour to come. We meet Jesus later on and then in John 10:30 Jesus tells us that "I and the Father are one". Here we, the reader, learns that not only is the Old Testament the Word of God; so is the New Testament by Jesus' teaching and living examples.

The Bible has been translated so many times over the years into so many different languages that in some areas it is hard to know what the writer originally meant. P.S. the original writings weren't in Greek they were in Aramaic.

If you would read Roberson's grammar, it notes that the article "a" is not essential to speech in that verse. Or in other words, with or without the article, you're not changing the meaning of the verse. Therefore, Jesus Christ is God.

Bacause each name is physically different yet almost the same. Duh ..Why is each name almost the same yet when translated so physically different .Now thats interesting !!! Did I say it was very interesting? the fact is Abc cannot spell Abd
but even so more how can it therefore spell Abc = jodnahona
and Abd spell rhansarenomoanemona ...? Uh huh ? which is more outrageous then the former .Or maybe the Greeks had

very interesting question and very simple answer. In the bible the word refers to Jesus and contrary to what most people believe jesus is not god but gods son. that is why it translates to the word was characterisitic of god because when jesus came to earth he showed some of the characterisitics of god just like a son shows those of his father. your research proved this point

I don’t believe that is saying that Jesus is God. Jesus is the Son of God. Together they are one force united with the Holy Spirit.
