And nobody better say from evolution because something had to start it all. I mean nothing can't create something. (So, the Big Bang was created from nothing?)

ARMOND STEELE,
now, i think ur just trying to get away without giving me a bit of 'i guess ur right...' isn't the fact that 'the universe has always been...' even harder to believe than God's existence?
i thought atheists believed in logical ways. not just a 'simple' answer. something had to cause it, right? please, im trying to think like u would!!

shugoducky,
im not saying that. ihad no intention of saying u were going to hell ,OC, i just asked a simple question, and instead of answering it in some sort of logical evidence, instead u try to offend me (which ur pretty bad at by the way, let me tell u lol) like that answers everything. so, if u cant think up a good enough answer, then u have some doubts in ur closet!

CHINO, THATS WHERE IM GETTING AT WHY exclude the God theory if it is equally likely that it is true. btw i think it is more likely it is, but that just my thoughts. (that some force created it) as about how that force (god) got here, i... i dont know what to tell ya.)

ARMUND STEELE,
i know ur not trying to attack me. but, even to me, the universe has always been? u make sence, but u got to admit! it's pretty beyound us. i just think, that somehow when it was created (which is beyond us) that its possible some extra fluids or w/e got mixed up and made a force, which could be God. ALl of that might sound insane, but not much more than 'the universe has always been.'
But, i do agree with u that sometimes the simplest answer is the best, but it just doesnt make any sence!! and, yea, i apologize for attacking you when u weren't.

** i have to say something to shugaducky again**

its time to come out of the closet. cauze, believe it or not, it sounds kind of like ur taking advantage of guys, and that seems kind of homosexual to me?

haha, lol, LOOSER!!
and BTW, what u said about the explosion of energy (to get on my nerves?)
i agree with that. but i agree with the fact that that explosion of energy created GOD. So, u cant try to annoy me with something i half- way agree on.

Your question is self contradictory: "nothing can't create something" - then where did God come from??? If he was always 'there' then why can't the same idea apply to the universe itself, thus removing God from the equation...?

Any atheist who answers this question honestly will say, "the human race does not yet know the origin of life and the universe. There are several scientific theories which have so far been supported by evidence, but none can be conclusively affirmed."

This DOES NOT mean that just because we don't kow the answer YET then we can fill the gap with God.

There is NO proof that God did create the universe (or even exists) and so no intelligent person can say "yes God DID create the universe" because they would be guessing or making an assumption.

It doesn't take much to believe in God, but it takes great courage and realism to admit that we don't know the answer.

Evolution can't be left out of your question, but not limited to this planet. The universe as we know it is growing constantly in new and different ways. We have only just begun to explore the forces that truly tie the universe together. The force I'm talking about is the actions of quantum particles. All matter is composed of these particles, so the quantum level is the only place where all matter in the universe operate on the same level. It is the ultimate conceit to believe that a supernatural being created us amongst this endless universe, and in its image, then set us free to do as we wish to this planet. We have been looking outward for answers for thousands of years, and that type of thinking has brought our species and countless others on this planet to the brink of extinction/annihilation. We must look within ourselves and change the way we view our existence. As far as a starting point of all things; Humans all around the world have to come to terms with the fact that we may never know understandings of the universe. For all we know, an event like the Big Bang could have occurred countless countless times. Time is our construct, and we can't limit all existence to something that has to make sense to us. Take 'er Easy.

Have you ever thought to yourself that maybe the universe has always been. People like to come up with really complicated answers to really complicated questions but sometimes the best answer is the simplest one.

What I meant is: You said it can't be possible that the universe has always been here, yet you say god has always been here. You can't set certain rules for yourself without them being able to apply somewhere else. Therefore if you believe that god has always been, then it must also be possible that the universe has always been. Plus the more complicated the explanation, the more chance it has of having holes. I'm not attacking you I just want you to realize you can't have rules that just apply just to the bible and not to physics. That's like saying we're going to have a race but I get a forty yard head start. Your trying to give yourself the upperhand. Were is the logic in that.

Hey, what's up your not going to respond again. Tell me what you think.

There is proof that there was a big bang and no Adham and eve. The first people on earth were black.(there is proof for that too)
before the big bang time didn't exist, every part of matter was clustered into an infinitely small ball so that it was basically nonexistent. After the big bang all the matter was sent out in opposite directions. Life formed on Earth as a result of certain extremely unlikely chemical reactions. Evolution happened so that the life, which was originally single celled bacteria, could better adapt to its surroundings. Eventually different life forms began to form to fit different surroundings.

Do you know that our ancestors believe that the sun was a god? well they were ignorant of what the sun really is, common people and a lot of time and studies reveal what the sun is. They were ignorant as you and me are today about the beginning of everything, but you choose a fictional character to explain it, I prefer to wait for a good science explanation

You just want to believe in a god because you want to know how everything start, well I have news for you, we just do not know, effect cause is a theory, is a theory, you do not know if it apply to the beginning of the universe (lol), I am going to tell you this, we just do not know jet, if you want to believe that a character creates everything, go a head, but trying to use science to proof the existence of such thing is not a good idea.

You may suppose, if you wish, that some sort of god set up the rules by which the universe has run since the big bang, but it will do you no good as it will not lead to any sort of useful conclusions about anything that has happened since. Since that time, there has been nine billion years of physical evolution, and four billion years of biological evolution (now a proven fact), and that's how we got here. For details, see:

Which god are you referring too? Please be more specific. Even if what you say is true then what created god? If nothing can't create something then something must of created god. Of course you might say that god is an exception to that rule, but only say it if you know it to be 100% true which I figure you don't and neither do I or anyone else. And there is the problem with your question, since we are discussing things which cannot be proved or disproved we can say anything we want because all we need is the desire for it to be true.

2007-02-28 12:24:40 · answer #8 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

If 'nothing can't create something' then you can't believe in god either? As something must have created it. The argument is circular.

More to the point, not knowing exactly how the universe began is not evidence for gods. And certainly not evidence for any particular god.

As to your very deep "if monkeys turned to humans, then why are there still monkeys? think about it." I have to suggest that you think about it. If adults come from children, why are there still children? And who told you monkeys turned into humans? Whoever it was is giving you misinformation - monkeys and humans come from a common ancestor. But even if we did come from them, that would not mean that they could not still exist.

2007-02-28 12:19:39 · answer #9 · answered by The Truth 3 · 0 0

you say that nothing cannot create something when asking how it all started if there was no god. wouldn't it be better to ask who or what created god? If god can exist without a creator why cant the universe. I mean god must be much more complex than the universe, and if something as complex as the universe needed a creator then wouldnt it stand to reason that god needed a creator too.

Who really cares. Billy was right though. Ask your self the same question of God. I believe I know the answer, God was created by Man.
