Servire Conjugation

The first two are perfect. However, in reference to the confusion between "protect" and "be a slave to", it's a common mistake. "Servire" (4th conjugation) is "serve, be a slave to." "Servare" (1st conjugation) means "guard, protect, save". The verb in the sentence is "servit," and so has to be the 4th conj. verb.

"No one is free who protected the body."

That's a rough translation for you.

Nemo- no one

liber- either "free" or "book." If it had a macron (a line over a letter) then I could tell.

est- is

qui- who

corpori- body

servit- guarded, protected, or saved

Well, I am not sure, but I think it means: "nadie que sirve al cuerpo es libre"
