Not true...the piont of all of it is that the people (his creation) has the choice of following the lord or following sin...A creator can be perfect without his creation being perfect.

As much fun as it is, unfortunately I must point out a logical flaw in your arguement.
A perfect God could create imperfect humans, if it was his original intent. And he would do it perfectly.
However you do have a point. If the original intent was for the creation to remain perfect, then if it becomes flawed for any reason it was never perfect in the begining. Something that is perfect can never become imperfect.
Some would argue that by destroying such a thing you would make it imperfect. However, if something is destructable, then it is not perfect.
No christian will ever agree with you though, because they will flaunt the whole free will bit and everything.

Well, in a way you are really trying to limit God by imagining that an all powerful God is incapable of creating entities who have the ability to oppose him.
Also, if there is no perfect God, then where does your discontent for this imperfect world come from? Have you seen something better than this universe somewhere? Or are you longing for something better because you desire the same goodness which your creator desires (since you are made in his image)?
One other thing I believe is valuable to consider is that there must be one thing/person/or reality which is self-existent. Even if you believe in evolution you have to go back logically to some one thing that existed before all things. Whatever that thing is must be the only perfect thing. None of us are self existent. If evolution is true then absolute nothingness is perfection since that is the only reality which can create itself. This line of thinking makes sense to me because I believe that the lesser things are dependent on the greater things.

I get your point, but being that Satan is what caused the humans to disobey, the more valid argument was that God created Satan (a fallen angel) who was imperfect, as he FIRST fell before the humans.
So, your bottom line SHOULD be a perfect God who creates imperfect ANGELS is impossible.
(Just to point out the err in your argument, not that I agree)

I have to disagree with you. What makes something perfect is not its lack of faults, but if it is created exactly for the purposed intented. Although humans create, we still use trial and error to improve and implment ideas. WE are always improving on something. However God's creation serves its purpose and needed not trial and error and improvments.
Think about it, if the sun was just a inch closer to Earth it would be horrible for humans and all the other living creatures. Humans intented purpose it to learn, make mistakes, fix mistakes, worship God, question things.
So to know if something is perfect, you have to first ask what is its intented use.

Well apparently you must be very confused. You see God is perfect in many ways.. Now let me tell you this. Is there such thing as evil? Because you'll think that god created evil. That's not true, evil is the absence of good. also as Dark, it has the absence of light. And there is no such thing as cold ether. Cold is the absence of Hot. So if there is no good there is evil. Evil has the absence of good. So God did not create all bad things. He created the good things. You'll get the perfect answer from God when you see him after you pass. Many things will be confusing to us. But we will all know the answer when we get to heaven.

God is God. But God also wanted to create something that would love him out of their own choice. So he created people that would have the choice to do what they want, and he wanted people to choose the right thing, because then they would be choosing that, not being "forced" to choose it because they were made that way. God didn't want robots. And that's what we aren't: we are NOT ROBOTS. We choose what we want. That's why people are good and some people don't choose the ritght thing. it's a BEAUTIFUL PARADOX.

Consider this: I had a child. Even though I can speak and write English and do many other things, she cannot (yet). My English is pretty close to perfect (well, relatively speaking)...hers is not. She came from me. God created us in His image...but we are also in a process of "being made holy"....we are being perfected! And so goes our journey to the Promised Land!

ur right i never thought of that. maybe god created humans to let them choose their life. its not really his fault that were imperfect. We make our own decisions so we are making ourself imperfect by doing what we want cause he cant control us.

The argument that god is perfect can't be defeated because it is true as Christians define it, because perfect is defined as not sinning. God doesn't sin therefore he is perfect. It is true because it is defined as true, impossible to defeat.
Plus even if he does something against what is in the bible, Christians will just say that sin is defined by God, he can do anything he wants, therefore it is still undefeatable by how Christians define it.

God created us but gave us free will. He cannot make decisions for us and does not want to. He wants us to live our lives based on faith. Just like your kids, you want them to do what is right and you guide them and teach them but ultimately the decision is theirs. At least that is my opinion. I think there are some things we are not meant to know right now. I used to be obsessed with God punishing me for bad things I did (catholic guilt). One of my Aunts put it in perspective for me. She said, "God is our father. If your children do something wrong, you don't turn your back on them or disown them. You still love them and try to guide them better." She was so right. That is what I have to hold on to.
