Just give him drinks of water, and don't force him to eat any food, he probably doesn't have much of an appetite, don't worry if he doesn't want to eat. Give him some Calpol and Nurofen for Babies/children to ease his aches and pains, and just let him rest.

Congratulations on being caring enough to do this, and mature enough to ask for help :)

I think the toddler age range is 1-3, but that's my own opinion.

EDIT: Whenever my siblings and I were ill, my mom would give us cooled BOILED water so as to not upset our stomachs further. You might want to give this a go too.

Try making him some chicken soup, don't worry if he doesn't want any food. Make sure he drinks clear fluids which are apple juice, water, white grape juice, and gatorade is okay too. Do not give him any junk food. Offer him some crackers. Do NOT give him any kind of medication and tell your grandparents to take him to the doctor's office or hospital.

Try to lay him down and relax him. He may cry alot because he feels lousy.

Children are considered toddler's after the 1st year

Most importantly stay calm you are doing a good job.

If he's throwing up, you want to make sure he stays hydrated. Try to have him take small sips of water (not too fast and not too much) and see if he's able to keep it down. Bland crackers (like Saltines) may help settle his stomach, but the most important thing is to keep him hydrated.

I don't recommend milk or soda or any acidic juices, since these may be too harsh on his stomach. Water or gatorade are your best choices.

If you have a thermometer, you should take his temperature and see if he's running a fever. If his fever is over 101, call your grandparents immediately and let them know. If it's over 103, you need to contact a doctor immediately.

If he's unable to sleep, you may want to try to hold him and comfort him. Often, when children are sick, just the reassurance that someone is taking care of them makes them feel much better.

Toddlers are considered to be between the ages of 1-3. At 4, they're usually referred to as pre-schoolers.

Good luck and I hope he feels better!

I went through this juts last week with my almost 3 year old. If you are going to give him gatorade then at least dilute it with water (half gatorade and half water). Chicken soup is good, as are just some plain crackers. Apple sauce, jello, ummm Ginger ale is good as well but just let it sit till it's not bubbly. Let him lay where ever he wants. We used the couch with her pillow and blanket. She was allowed to watch tv all day.

Ok when my kids are sick we make a special bed on the lounge. We get their pillow (a couple of pillows to elevate head is good so their noses dont get blocked as quickly) and their favourite blanket and a teddy bear or other favourite toy. We put a movie on like Shrek, so they can just lay down and relax and fall asleep when they can.
I give them chicken soup, broth is great to, but mine dont like it. They love packets of the cup-a-soup with noodles. Lemonade that you shake and let go flat is great as well.
Just make sure he has little sips of water or juice. Dont force him to eat but if he is hungry than soup or noodles are great. Make sure they are cool enough first.
It soundsl ike you are doing a great job and are a great big sister. Just make sure he is comfy and sit down and watch a movie with him.

Get gravol, your gonna wanna talk to the pharmacist and let them know the situation i highly think coke and gatorade is bad to give to the child, your best solution is gravol its a medicine that prevents the stomachs reaction to release its contents going the opposite way. You still want to talk to the pharmacist about this because they might recommend a certain dosage of gravol.
